Attend our Summer Conference
Each summer the Careers Service hosts a one-day conference for Employers, focusing on an aspect of graduate recruitment. Previous topics have included "Recruiting international students", "Recruitment, Retention and the Law" and "Employing Graduates Effectively". The 2011's Summer Conference was entitled "Look to the Future - Turning Potential into Performance".
Our focus for 2012’s conference will be widening participation. This will take place on Wednesday, 11th July 2012 from 9:30 to 4pm.
Government and Universities are keen that students from diverse and non traditional backgrounds should have the benefit of a university education.
Employers are interested in widening their recruitment base.
Our sessions will concentrate on what this means, how universities and employers can work together and how best to help that group of students reach their true potential.
