Masters Degrees
Masters programmes have two semesters of taught modules and one semester dedicated to the dissertation. These are supported by a range of resources including notes, links, discussions and podcasts.
Syllabus
The autumn and spring semesters offer a number of compulsory and optional modules.You will receive feedback at regular intervals during modules to help with your learning. You will also receive full details of your performance with additional feedback from your programme director at the end of the autumn and spring semesters. Dissertation »

The dissertation accounts for one third of the masters degree. Work starts on the dissertation at the end of the autumn, and the majority of the work will be undertaken during the summer.

Scholarship
The Computing Department awards a scholarship of 1,000.00 GBP to new MSc students to attract highly qualified students home and abroad. Scholarships will be awarded based on qualifications and the incoming date of the application. To qualify for the application of the scholarship, the student should have a First Class Honour (or equivalent) undergraduate degree and must have registered for one of our MSc programs.
The award will be paid in two instalments during the academic year, usually in January and June.
