Undergraduate Degrees
Our undergraduate programmes have three years of taught modules with an optional professional training year. Each module is supported by a range of resources, from notes to discussions, and uses a range of learning techniques, such as examples, labs and electronic voting.
Syllabus
The first two years have a fixed programme of modules tailored for each degree. The final year consists of a project plus a choice of module options. Full details of all modules can be found in the syllabus, together with the associated timetables and deadlines.
Explore the Module Map. The modules are grouped into themes (pictured in yellow): Foundations, Architecture, Web Development, Software Engineering, Applications, and Business. Computer Science modules are in blue, Computing and IT in orange, and modules common to both programmes are in green. Optional final year modules are in white.
Support
If you need help with a particular module, please contact the lecturer (details in the module catalogue). For any other academic matters, please contact your Level Co-ordinator. For general enquiries please contact our dedicated teaching support officer. If you want advice from your fellow students, then get in touch with one of our student representatives.
Prizes
The Department and some of its industrial partners offer a number of prizes to our undergraduate students which cover all programmes and levels. The complete list of all prizes can be found here.
