David set to run over 200km in aid of cancer charity

Tuesday 1 April 2008

David Williams, a PhD student in the Department, is attempting to run 200km in a number of races to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. David started by completing the Chichester Priory 10k last October, and after several more 10k races, he has just completed the Barcelona Marathon in 3 hours 54 minutes. David has a target of raising £1500 through sponsorship, so please give generously.

You can add your sponsorship on David's fundraising page, where you will also see some of the pictures and videos of the races he's done so far.
