<title>Strategic Collaboration with China on Super-Computing: New Grant announced for Prof Jianmin Jiang</title>

<description>Prof Jianmin Jiang has been awarded a grant by the EC for a strategic collaboration on Super-Computing, based on TIANHE-1A, the world&#8217;s most powerful super-computer in 2010. &#160;&#160;The collaboration is coordinated by Prof Jiang at the University of Surrey, and involves seven partners across Europe and China. &#160;It will run for two years from January 2012.</description>
