Biography

Bin Li received his MSc. in Computer Science in University of Surrey, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computing at University of Surrey, started from Oct. 2007, supervised by Dr. Lee Gillam. His research interests are including Grid/Cloud computing and economics; the Service Level Agreements, building automatic and job-specific SLAs in particular; the virtualization in Cloud; the financial risk as well the structured finance modelling and applications in HPC and Cloud infrastructure. He is now also working as research fellow on EPSRC project: the Fair Benchmarking for Cloud Computing Systems, exploring the performance in line with the actual costs using public and private Cloud systems; understanding the pricing schemes for Cloud systems; and using theses components working towards to the future cloud economics.
