Complementary Programmes
We offer complementary postgraduate MSc degree programmes, each lasting for 1 year.
Each programme consists of modules that are designed to provide an advanced level of knowledge and skills in specialist areas: business computing, the Internet and security.
Accreditation
Internet Computing and Security Technologies and Applications have BCS accreditation giving exemption at diploma level from the BCS professional examinations. This accreditation is regularly maintained and you should check with the Department as to the current status of accreditation for particular degrees.
Scholarships
The Computing Department awards a scholarship of 1,000.00 GBP to new MSc students to attract highly qualified students home and abroad. Scholarships will be awarded based on qualifications and the incoming date of the application.
To qualify for the application of the scholarship, the student should have a First Class Honour (or equivalent) undergraduate degree and must have registered for one of our MSc programs.
The award will be paid in two instalments during the academic year, usually in January and June.
