Undergraduate Degrees

Our bachelors degree programmes are designed to provide you with the skills necessary to become an IT professional, whether this is as a software engineer, project manager, consultant or in support. These programmes include up-to-date technical skills with programming taught in Java throughout the degree, leading to advanced Java subjects in later years, as well as the necessary communication, team working and problem solving skills demanded by industry.

Computing at the Core

We offer three undergraduate BSc (Honours) degree programmes, each with (4 years) or without (3 years) a professional training year.

 
Core subjects for computing undergraduate degrees

Each programme consists of a core of computing subjects plus subjects based upon the theme of the degree: either business, computer science or electronic engineering.

Accreditation

All of our undergraduate degrees (3 and 4 year) have full BCS accreditation giving full exemption from the BCS professional examinations and partial CEng/CSci exemption.

Scholarships

We provide both bursaries for students from lower income households and performance scholarships to reward students.
