UCAS Days
We at the Department of Computing run our UCAS days for applicants and parents to give you both the opportunity to experience what student life will be like at Surrey.
After applying through UCAS we will contact you with a date for your UCAS day at the University. If this date is not suitable please do not hesitate to contact our admissions team who will happily rearrange at a more convenient time for you.
If you require additional support on your UCAS day please contact us and we will ensure that there will be someone on hand to help.
How to find us on the day…
We include directions on how to find the department from the station and from the campus car park.
Your Day…
The department will provide you with full details of the course you have applied for and will have academics on hand in order to answer any questions that you may have. This is your chance to find out about us and what we enjoy about Computing.
You will also have the opportunity to meet computing students undertaking their degrees and who have completed successful professional training year placements.
Other elements of the day will include a tour of the campus, participation in a team exercise and a one-to-one interview with a member of academic staff so that you can tell us about yourself and your future aspirations.

Offers…
We normally make offers after you have attended a department UCAS Day. If you are based overseas we recognise that it may be difficult for you to make the journey to attend a UCAS day and will make you an offer based on your application without expecting you to attend.
We are excited by our programmes and look forward to welcoming new students to Surrey.
