Success in EPSRC 'Bridging the Gaps' application, supported by the University of Surrey
Congratulations to Professor Rachel Fensham (School of Arts) on the success of her EPSRC 'Bridging the Gaps' application.
The funding will support research projects relating to 'Visualising Motion in 3+ Dimensions' making effective links between the Sciences and Arts and Humanities.
Rachel's aim is "to support partnerships that will bring together academics and researchers from Arts, Humanities, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering and Computing around 2 or 3 key topics".
An Arts-Science event will be convened in June 2012 to report on progress and discuss any interim findings.
