This questionnaire (and the downloadable flowchart) is designed to help you decide whether your research is exempt or requires a favourable ethical opinion and from whom.
This is guidance and not exhaustive. We cannot anticipate every eventuality and if this routing does not help your particular research design, and you wish to check whether you need an ethical opinion, please write a brief description of the research and submit to Julie Earl and the FAHS EC chair will give you a steer.
