The Nursing & Healthcare research group undertakes research that is capable of improving nursing and healthcare locally, but at the same time, informing healthcare theory, policy and practice at a national and international level. Indeed, our excellent track record of working in partnership with health workers from different disciplines has allowed us to complete much needed research that has led to real life improvements in the treatment and support of patients and carers. We have an excellent track record of undertaking important service evaluation studies, providing the Department of Health with much needed information upon which to make decisions about care.
