Volunteering England Gold Award for Nursing Student
Monday 13 June 2011
Sarah Holling, a first year Adult Nursing student, was awarded a Volunteering England Gold Award in May across the Leadership and Dedication categories for her outstanding work in her local community and abroad.
Sarah's award in the Leadership category was for setting up and running a Community First Responder team in her village, a team of volunteers who responds to 999 emergency calls for South Central Ambulance Service. In the Dedication category Sarah won the award due to the amount of volunteering she has done for various organisations both in the UK and Russia.
Congratulations to Sarah on this excellent achievement.
