Welcome to the School of Law at the University of Surrey
We are part of the Faculty of Management and Law, with students at all levels from undergraduate through to PhD. We are a friendly School and aim to provide a supportive environment for our student population.
Study at the School of Law
Our Single Honours Law programme is now one of the biggest undergraduate courses run by the University and attracts students internationally and from the UK. We offer a range of Qualifying Law Degrees and we are particularly proud of the extensive provision of work placement opportunities for our students.
We have strong international and European traditions. Not only do we continue to offer undergraduate Law that combines with the study of international or European legal systems and languages but we now offer Masters programmes focusing on these areas.
Research in the School of Law
The School is not just about teaching. We have a broad range of research activity, ranging from areas of international and European law to concepts like environmental and environmental health law and combating corruption.
