The important stages of final year projects are summarised below. These are the final deadlines and you should try and do each task well before the required deadline.
Deadlines for MMath Final Year project

| Spring (Level 3) | Choose topic and supervisor |
| Autumn week 1 | Make an early start on the project |
| Autumn week 3 | Return Module Choice Form and Statement of Intent Form |
| Autumn week 12 | Submit the preliminary report and give a short presentation |
| Spring week 7 | Submit a draft of the final report to supervisor |
| Spring week 11 | Submit the final report |
| Spring week 12-13 | Oral examination |
