• Visiting Fellow (2010 - 2013), incorporating an Associate Tutor role, lecturing on Mathematical Economics, Numerical and Computational Methods, Probability, and the Theory of Water Waves, as well as providing pastoral care to first year undergraduates.
• British Science Association Media Fellow (2009) with the news team at the journal Nature.
• Associate Lecturer and Visiting Researcher (2008 - 2010), lecturing on the Numerical Solution of PDEs.
• Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Physiological Fluid Mechanics (2003 - 2008), collaborating with colleagues at Harvard University and the University of Surrey.
