Biography

Matteo graduated (master level) in Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence, Italy, where  he  later obtained a PhD in Environmental Fluid Dynamics with a thesis about air quality modelling. After a short post doctoral contract at Florence, he was granted a two-year Marie Curie Fellowship within MMA here at Surrey, researching on wind tunnel and numerical modelling of flow and pollutant dispersion in urban areas.  Matteo's current work involves the study of flow and pollution dispersion in urban areas and the development of urban parameterisations for meteorological models.
