She now works for Astrium in Cambridge, a leading satellite designer and manufacturer. Vicki first worked with satellites during her degree here at Surrey. She spent her Professional Training Year working in Germany for Vega Ltd, another satellite company. There Vicki worked on Radarsat-2, for the Canadian Space Agency. In 2009, Vicki won the Very Early Career Award, run by the professional body for UK physicists, the Institute of Physics (IoP), together with Shell.
