The Politics Society attended their first Model UN conference this year, at the University of Sussex. USMUN 2010 was attended by Universities from over the country, all negotiating to pass resolutions on specific topics or crisis. The three committees (Security Council, Historical Council, and UN Human Rights Council) debated over Somali Pirates, the Iran-Iraq War set in the 1980's, Gay Rights and Child Soliders.
