MA Bursaries Competition 2010-11

The Department welcomes applications for MA bursaries for the Academic Year 2010-11 to undertake postgraduate studies on one of our four MA programmes.
We can offer up to four bursaries, each of between £1000 and £3000, towards tuition fees for high achieving students in the area of politics, international relations, international/European studies and social sciences.
ESRC PhD Studentships

Applications are invited for the ESRC Open Competition 2010. The Department of Politics has ESRC +3 recognition and is looking to support a strong candidate in the fields of politics and international relations. The Department is currently expanding its postgraduate community. Proposals are encouraged in any of the areas in which the Department has expertise, which include: International Politics (including gender, IR theories, security studies, Foreign Policy Analysis, human rights), EU Politics & Policies, Political Psychology, Global Politics, Citizenship and Policy Studies, Social Policy and Political Theory.

European Values Network is a platform of young European scholars and professionals who are inspired by the values of liberty, personal responsibility and an active civil society, and who want to propose solutions to enhance Europe 's freedom, safety, strength and prosperity. Every year new participants join our annual programme and, within working groups, meet in Brussels and Prague to prepare policy papers addressing major European challenges.
