The School of Psychology at the University of Surrey is home to over 50 academics and postdoctoral researchers as well as 70 postgraduate students. We have an international reputation as a centre of excellence in both research and teaching.

Our Reputation

We offer an Undergraduate BSc course and a range of postgraduate MSc courses in an environment where teaching and research are well integrated. We also run a lively and successful PhD programme and Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapeutic & Counselling Practitioner Doctorates. Students on our BSc programme have an opportunity to explore life as a professional psychologist by participating in the Professional Training year, which is key to our excellent graduate employment record (currently 98.8%). Students graduating from our programme are eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and have the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership - the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
